I wanted to ask you a question:
What is your New Beginning going to look like?
I’m not big on making New Years Resolutions as they generally only start and end within the New Year. Instead think of some new beginnings that you will bring into your everyday lifestyle.
Personally, I’m going to focus more on me. Which sounds easy but it’s something that I’ve missed out on a lot in 2017. As you know I love my job, being a Personal Trainer and helping others brings so much joy. But sadly I didn’t give enough love and help to myself where I then got sick, I crashed, became stressed constantly and I was absolutely depleted.
I knew this was something I needed to change. If I'm running at 30% how can I give my energy to other people? So I said enough was enough and I’m already starting to take steps to a better me (more on this to come)!
I started getting regular acupuncture (this has done absolute wonders), I’m finally getting my own exercise in (it’s true this fell at the wayside), and I’ve stared practicing Yoga.
I promise you I will continue this into 2018 - Because I know how I felt in 2017 and I never want to go back to that.

Not to allow ourselves to feel guilty if we haven’t stayed up to our high standards / expectations but to help each other get to our goals with encouragement and the reminder of why we need these changes in our lives.
I know there's still a couple days until the New Year, but why not start now.
