I just finished watching the Eddie The Eagle Movie and it was absolutely fantastic!
It bought out so many emotions, the love of sport, the fear of failure, the need to believe and the urge to never give up.
I was lucky enough to compete at the highest level I could with Softball. I had the opportunity to represent Canada, we came third in the world and Softball is the reason why I ended up living in the Southern Hemisphere. It took a lot of work, a lot of hours, a lot of sweat, and of course all of it wouldn't of been possible without my parents love and support.
What I realised from the movie is that from achieving your fitness goals to training to compete in the olympics the steps are the same.
You need to:
Believe in yourself
Put in the hard work
Anything is possible
