Kari has been in a Certified Personal Trainer for 10 years and has been in the industry for 12 years. She has completed certificates in Pre & Post Natal, Altitude Training, and Nutrition for Exercise & Sport. She is an Advanced Boxing Fitness Trainer and has completed workshops in BOSU and TRX.
What she has accomplished:
Growing up in Canada fitness has always been her passion from a young age. She played an array of different sports since she was 5 years old. After representing Canada in Softball she was scouted to play for New Zealand in 2006.
Kari believes in practicing what she preaches. In one year she completed 13 fun runs, one included a half marathon on the Gold Coast. She completed The Ride to Conquer Cancer 200km Bike ride and raised money benefiting Peter MacCallum Cancer Research in 2014. Soon after she accomplished her first Triathlon and motivated a few of her clients to get involved as well.
She ran Open Water training sessions with 2XU in 2015. She helped with their technique, how to become more comfortable swimming in the bay as well as covering all things triathlon and performance including: nutrition, recovery, hydration, and breathing techniques.
